Evolution Set to Launch Ice Fishing Live Game Show on August 6

Evolution is preparing to launch its newest live casino title, Ice Fishing Live, on August 6, marking the latest addition to its line-up of game show-style experiences. Originally introduced during  in January 2025, the game is described as a high-speed, multiplier-driven show designed to deliver quick action and visual excitement.

Showcased at stand #2D20 during ICE Barcelona’s debut in the city, Ice Fishing was among more than 110 titles announced across Evolution Group’s eight brands. The game stood out for its unique presentation, offering what Evolution calls “the coolest virtual money wheel game to date.” The show combines real-time gameplay with a winter fishing theme, where players watch a live host cast for multiplier-filled fish in icy waters.

At the core of Ice Fishing Live is a 56-segment fortune wheel. Seven of those segments are special bonus triggers, unlocking one of three themed fishing rounds. Each bonus game offers its own win potential, based on the size of the fish caught:

• Lil’ Blues: The most frequently triggered bonus, with a max multiplier of 5x and appearing on 4 wheel segments.
• Big Oranges: Offers a max 10x multiplier and appears on 2 segments.
• Huge Reds: The rarest bonus, found on just 1 segment, but offers potential payouts up to 10,000x the player’s stake.

Players start by placing a bet, after which the live host spins the fortune wheel. If it lands on a bonus segment, the corresponding round begins. During each bonus, players watch the host attempt to catch fish, with larger fish translating into bigger wins.

Designed as a fast-paced game show rather than a traditional casino table, Ice Fishing Live prioritizes speed and visual entertainment. Evolution teased the upcoming title in a LinkedIn announcement, stating: “Beware, this is no slow day on the lake! Expect fast spins featuring multipliers, three Bonus games with guaranteed wins, and a reel thrill for every player.”
