Absolutely dislike this form of payment! To me, having to have to stockpile Ethereum to be used as “gas�?is completely aggravating and makes it more difficult to use as a payment method. I am indifferent when it comes to Tether. i suppose it is efficient at doint what it was designed to do, but i also feel like there are many other coins that mirror fiat just as efficiently. I do not currently hold any tether and have not noticed its availability increase in terms of being a viable method of payment online. I think it could probably be a nice set of training wheels for newboes who want to dip their toe into crypto without any of the risk.

Although you’ll probably find that most every casino will accept Tether and likely payout in Tether also. Unless you’re a very seasoned Tether user, you’ll most certainly be finding yourself with more questions than you might decide it’s worth. My biggest issue with Tether is having it be necessary in having enough “Gas�?in order to even use Tether in the first place�?so unless u also have Ethereum or enough money to buy Ethereum. You’re going to have Tether sitting in your wallet until you can gas her up! I could care less about it being a Stable coin because I’m not planning on holding onto Tether longer than it takes to receive it and then send it or sell it off. If the only thing it’s good for, in my opinion, would be to receive your casino payout and from there converting it into a more preferable crypto asset. Typically I would just sell off all assets. Definitely becomes more of an issue depending upon the wallet you’re storing yours in. Not all wallets are equal in terms of utilization of Tether or having capabilities to standalone sell or convert. Good luck.

If you want to avoid volatility , it is a good choice , but less popular then USDC , and fees can be high if you make a lot of transaction there are better cryptocurrencies. Widely accepted , easy to use , stable, but it is not an independent crypto, need more management if you want to use it.

I really dont understand the purpose of stable coins like tether. Atleast not for online gaming. If your going to deposit with crypto why not just use one the major ones like BTC or LTC. I kind of liked using Tether when I did use it. I’ve used to withdrawal from casinos a few times, and maybe used it to deposit a handful of times, but the transaction fees were fairly reasonable, as were the transfer times for transactions. The price seems to stay fairly level, so you don’t have to worry about steep fluctuations in the price going up or down like some other cryptocurrencies, so I’d recommend it any day of the week honestly.

Tether can be a bit different of a depositing method because you can deposit via two different ways there’s ERC and another type of network you can do it on and if you don’t send it on the right network it just vanishes into cyberspace so you have to be extremely cautious when you deposit via it I try to steer clear of it just because it’s like a lot to understand but the different networks availability and stuff
