Arrows Edge Live Dealer Games & Casinos Reviewed

About The Company

Arrow’s Edge is a relatively new online gaming supplier founded in 2014. Focused to “develop high-quality casino games for PC desktop and laptop players”, the company has marketed about 50 slots, table games and video poker games, some of which were actually acquired rather than developed in-house. Distribution is still quite limited and you’ll currently find Arrow’s Edge products at a small number of US-friendly online casinos.

As of recently, we started seeing live dealer games offered under the same brand but in fact produced by a well-known live gaming supplier, Vivo Gaming. The latter is a privately-owned Israeli provider operating since 2010 with a Curacao iGaming license and continuously building strategic alliances to strengthen the company’s presence in the online gaming arena. Vivo live dealer games are streamed 24/7 from studios located in Bulgaria, Philippines, Georgia, Uruguay and Colombia.

Tables Offered by Arrow's Edge

Arrow’s Edge provides multiple tables playing Live Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat. Some of its roulette games are streamed from brick-and-mortar establishments and enable online players to place bets on the same tables as the casino patrons.

To establish trust, Vivo has implemented one-shot takes with the camera filming the dealer and the game without any breaks or interruptions.

Players are prompted to choose among two or three table limit options prior to taking a seat and thus make sure they’ll be able to bet amounts compatible with the budget available. Simple interface allows for an easy access to a limited number of in-game options.

Camera views will change automatically and there’s no way to adapt video or audio output by yourself; the only option available is to turn the sound off.

Arrow’s Edge Live Roulette

Arrow’s Edge offers exclusively European Roulette which uses a single-zero wheel. Tables are placed in studios made to resemble a genuine casino floor but you’ll also find a few games broadcasted from land-based Portomaso and Oracle casinos. Turkish players have the privilege of choosing one hosted by a native dealer happy to converse in their own language.

The layout is fairly simple: buttons on top of the screen allow one to view betting limits, game history and rules as well as choose interface language, and all betting-related controls are positioned below live feed. Players can place chips on a traditional betting board or a racetrack, choose among pre-saved favorite bets or use one of the standard shortcuts featured in all live dealer games powered by Vivo (remove, undo, rebet and rebetx2).

Arrow’s Edge Live Blackjack

Live Blackjack is a 7-seat game playing with 8 decks and paying 3:2 for Blackjack. The dealer draws to 16 and stands on all 17’s. If their up card is an Ace, they’ll invite players to buy Insurance and win 2:1 if the dealer’s hole card happens to be any 10-point card. Having offered Insurance, the dealer will peak for Blackjack. Players can double down to receive a single additional card and split up to a total of 4 hands. Split Aces receive one card each. If you have Blackjack and your opponent’s up card is an Ace, you can take Even Money and get paid 1:1 to preempt a potential push.

The game supports two optional wagers: 21+3 side bet which pays up to 100:1 based on the first two cards dealt to the player and the dealer’s up card, and Perfect Pairs with the maximum win potential of 25:1. Control buttons will allow you to see table limits, game history, rules and available interface languages.

Arrow’s Edge Live Baccarat

Live Baccarat is a one-to-many game using 8 decks and offering an array of betting options. One can place Banker, Player or Tie bets and collect 1:1 for the first two (minus 5% commission on a winning Banker bet) and 8:1 if the two hands tie. The choice of optional side wagers includes Pairs bet (Perfect, Player, Banker or Either Pair), Player / Banker Bonus with a maximum payout of 30:1, and Small / Big bets paying 3:2 and 0.54:1 respectively.

Standard Vivo interface features buttons for accessing bet limits and game rules. Typical baccarat roadmaps, displayed below live feed, may prove to be a useful tool when deciding which outcome to bet on next. In between them you’ll find chips of different denominations and shortcuts allowing players to easily remove bets, undo and rebet the same amount or twice as much.
