BetMGM and Borgata Introduce Dual Play Baccarat, Expanding Live Casino Options

BetMGM and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa have introduced Dual Play Baccarat, a live dealer game that allows online and in-person players to share the same table. Developed by Evolution, this marks the first Dual Play Baccarat launch in a regulated U.S. market.

This new addition builds upon Borgata’s previous launch of Dual Play Roulette in August 2023, which became  at an MGM Resorts International North American property. That game quickly gained popularity, both online and on-site, and continues to be one of the most played live dealer options at Borgata.

The introduction of Dual Play Baccarat expands Borgata and BetMGM’s focus on integrating live and digital casino experiences. Players accessing BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online Casino in New Jersey can now join a baccarat table at Borgata Atlantic City in real time, experiencing the same game environment as those physically at the casino.

The game features multiple camera angles, providing an immersive viewing experience. Unlike standard live dealer games, an unlimited number of online players can participate alongside those at the physical table.

BetMGM and Borgata executives have emphasized the importance of blending land-based and live dealer play.

The launch of Dual Play Baccaratis part of Evolution’s continued push into hybrid live dealer experiences, which blend online and retail gaming. The company previously introduced Dual Play Roulette at Borgata in 2023, which quickly became a high-traffic option for players.
