SiGMA Group and Clarion Gaming have confirmed the postponement of the inaugural ICE Asia and SiGMA Manila events originally set to be held this June until May 2021.

In anticipation of the land-based trade shows, the organizers will run an online conference scheduled to take place from 8 to 10 June 2020. Free to participate in, it will provide three days of content centered around gaming in Asia, bringing together local operators and internationally renowned industry experts.

Unique Interactive Experience

In their separate press releases, both Clarion Gaming (which earlier moved to Spring ICE North America) and SiGMA have announced the decision to put on hold the long-awaited event until 27 and 28 May 2021, with SiGMA stating that “rescheduling this inaugural show was the only responsible course of action, enabling us to provide the kind of experience that our customers, partners, and employees expect and deserve, in a safe environment.”

Speaking of the digital counterpart…

…Founder and CEO of SiGMA Group, Eman Pulis said: “In line with SiGMA Group’s commitment to facilitating new business opportunities for key players in the global iGaming and emerging tech sectors, the digital conference will embrace the difficulties we are facing at a time when working together has never been more important.”

Besides a unique opportunity to be a part of interactive experience enriched with a series of panel discussions led by the top speakers (with Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer at Evolution Gaming among them), all registered for the online conference delegates will get a free standard ticket for spectacular Manila 2021 intended to attract more than 10,000 attendees.

Stronger SiGMA Manila Next Year

Assuring the audience in his full dedication to the Asia front and SiGMA Manila, Eman Pulis stated:

I moved with my family from Europe to Asia last year to make this work and leave no stone unturned. There’s just so many events being pushed to the second half of 2020, that, in everyone’s best interest we feel pushing the show to May 2021 gives us enough time to regroup and launch with a dynamite inaugural show.”

The organizers are going to...

…take full advantage of an extra eleven months they have to prepare for the land-based event, therefore it was decided to increase the amount of floor space in order to make an even bigger show. “We believe the appetite for iGaming business in Asia will grow even stronger,“ said Pulis.

Commenting on the preparations for the future conference, SiGMA’s spokesperson added: “We would like to thank everyone for their continued support. We will be working with our suppliers and partners to finalise further details and will share more information about our plans in the coming weeks.”
