Delta Corp, the largest and only listed casino operator in India, has announced that its portfolio of land-based casinos has expanded after the company has taken over the management of Zuri Hotels in Goa.

The brand new casino operates under the company’s Deltin brand and it opened its door to customers on June 2nd. Upon that occasion, Anil Malani, the Chief Executive Officer of Delta Corp, expressed his delight at having added a seventh casino to the company’s portfolio.

“Goa is a city state which is always brimming with exciting tourist destinations,” Anil Malani added, underlining that Deltin Zuri will be trying to offer its customers a “regal yet intriguing gaming experience.”

There are six floating offshore casinos, two of them belonging to Delta Corp, while on land there are casinos hosted inside five-star hotels. However, none of these casinos offer live tables.

The casino located within the Zuri White Sands Resort is the fourth land-based casino operated by Delta Corp in Goa after Deltin Suites-Goa, Deltin Denzong-Gangtok and Deltin Casino International-Kathmandu.

Delta Corp Limited is the only listed company engaged in the casino and online gaming industry in India. The company also holds three of the six offshore gaming licenses issued in Goa, with a new casino vessel expected to be ready to operate in September.
