NetEnt, one of the biggest providers of casino software and content, has added another title to its already impressive portfolio of live dealer games. The new addition is its first-ever Baccarat live casino game, which it describes as a high-speed and scalable product.

The Swedish software and content supplier has set up three separate Baccarat tables, and two of them are located in its physical studio, offering an experience that gets very close to the real and authentic casino feel.

The other table is set up using chroma-key technology, and that gives NetEnt’s operator partners the opportunity to change the background behind the dealer to suit their needs and brand.

Each stream that comes from these tables has two camera angles, creating a more dynamic and immersive experience. Moreover, each of the tables can accommodate an unlimited number of players at the same time.

Expanding its Footprint in the Live Casino Sector

The addition of Baccarat to NetEnt’s live dealer games portfolio follows a long series of upgrades that the company has made to its live casino titles and also to its physical studio.

Speaking about the new product launch, Andres Rengifo, NetEnt Live Director, said:“The launch of Baccarat will allow us to reach new players and support the needs of our partners for innovative game variants that attract a wider and more diverse audience.

As part of our localisation strategy, Baccarat will complement our existing Blackjack and Roulette offering, expanding our footprint in the live casino sector.”

Increasingly Strong Presence in North America

In recent months NetEnt has also made several steps towards increasing its profile on the North American market. It has recently made deals with Wind Creek Online and The Cordish Companies, supplying these operators with their software and content.

Moreover, its products have also been available in Canada since 2018, through an agreement with International Game Technology and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

NetEnt and Evolution are currently in the process of setting up a merger, which would create a real industry giant when it comes to supplying software and content for online casinos.

Until the merger goes through, NetEnt reported an increase in revenues of almost 17% in the third quarter of 2020 compared to the same period of last year, amounting to around 50 million euros.
