Markor Technology, a casino software aggregation platform and technology solutions provider, and BtoBet, a sportsbook technology and services supplier, have been granted licenses to operate in Ontario after the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario approved their requests.

Markor Technology provides a game aggregation platform which offers a wide range of gaming content from over 75 suppliers, from slot games to table games and live dealer games from top providers such as Ezugi, Evolution, Pragmatic Play and BetGames.

Now the supplier will be able to offer its multi-vertical portfolio to licensed operators in Ontario. Markor Technology is also licensed in Malta, Gibraltar, the United Kingdom and Spain, while in 2023 the company aims to enter more regulated markets such as Romania, Portugal and Sweden.

Melissa Summerfield, the Chief Executive Officer of Markor Entertainment, revealed that acquiring licensing and certification “has always been at the very heart” of the company’s expansion plans in the long term and declared herself “delighted” to have secured the approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

BtoBet Also Enters The Market

BtoBet, which is a subsidiary of NeoGames, has also secured the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and was formally registered as a Gaming-Related Supplier in the province.

The company has recently acquired GLI-33 Events Wagering System Certification by Gaming Laboratories International for its sportsbook platform, and that built a solid foundation for the supplier’s expansion across North America.

Tsachi Maimon, the President of NeoGames, described this as “an important milestone for the company” as having received the approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario allows the business to further expand in North America.

“This approval underscores BtoBet’s exemplary track record in compliance, and we are excited to be in a position to deliver our market-leading sportsbook technology to customers in Ontario,” the NeoGames president added.

NeoGames is also involved in a joint venture with Pollard Banknote, the famous Canadian company, allowing both companies to independently or jointly pursue other North American iLottery opportunities.
