Racing and Wagering Western Australia, the controlling authority for thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing in the state of Western Australia, has entered a partnership with Kambi Group, a global sports betting supplier.

The agreement makes Kambi the official sports betting partner of Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA). The deal will allow RWWA to use Kambi’s technology to update its sports betting products that are being offered both in retail outlets and through TABtouch, an established online brand in Australia.

The Kambi sportsbook technology will add a more varied sports betting offer to RWWA’s existing wagering product, along with a wider range of potential bonus offers and extensive differentiation capabilities.

Racing and Wagering Western Australia was established in 2003 as a state-run racing authority for Western Australia. The authority is operating the state’s Totalisator Agency Board (TAB).

RWWA currently has more than 320 retail shops along with TABtouch, the online operation that also includes a mobile application. The profits gained by RWWA are then used to support the growth of the state’s racing industry.

Ian Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of Racing and Wagering West Australia, added: “We are delighted to have partnered with Kambi to build on our reach across our online and retail sectors.
