Aristocrat Leisure Limited, the well-known Australian supplier of slot games for land-based and online casinos, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Roxor Gaming, a business-to-business online real money gaming supplier.

The acquisition was first announced in September 2022 and it includes two in-house studios that operate under the Roxor Gaming brand. The supplier will become a part of Aristocrat’s own real money gaming business, recently branded as Anaxi

The Remote Game Server and content publishing technology developed by Roxor Gaming are expected to accelerate the growth of Anaxi in the iGaming market, as the Australian company is keen on developing its online gaming arm.

Roxor Gaming was founded in 2019 by Noel Hayden, the chairman and co-founder of Gamesys, and it previously operated as the in-house studio and product team of the Gamesys Group.

Initially Aristocrat Leisure Limited tried to enter the online gaming market through the acquisition of Playtech, but the Australian company’s bid to acquire the developer was rejected by the shareholders.
